There’s nothing like a cold treat on a hot summer’s day. Here’s six places to find one:
#1 – We’re home to the original Sylas and Maddy’s – where the ice cream and waffle cones are made fresh daily. If you have trouble deciding which of the nearly forty flavors to choose, try the 5 Flavor Sampler.
#2 – TCBY, short for “The Country’s Best Yogurt”, offers healthy alternatives to ice cream including Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Greek options. Bonus: There’s a Mrs. Fields bakery within this FroYo shop.
#3 – Cold Stone Creamery makes their ice cream fresh every day in the store. Create your own creation by choosing your ice cream flavor and favorite mix-ins (your choice of candies, fruits, nuts and more!)
#4 – If you like soda, then you have to stop by Mass Street Soda – they have 1,300 varieties of craft soda from all over the world. Pick the soda you’d like and belly up to the bar where staff will cool it in two minutes with a spin chiller or hook you up with an ice cream draft soda float.
#5 – What better way to achieve relief from the heat than with a sno cone from Tad’s Shaved Ice. The hardest thing about ordering from this little walk-up establishment is choosing the flavor – there’s like hundreds!
#6 – Parents love Orange Leaf for it’s healthy options and kids love it for the do-it-yourself experience. It’s a frozen yogurt shop that allows you to be the master of your own dessert. Pick your flavors and your topping to create your own masterpiece.
