Come visit beautiful and historic Lawrence, Kansas and enjoy bicycle racing in Kansas at its best at the 2019 Firecracker Crit & Tour of Lawrence 4-day race weekend, brought to you by Women’s Free State Racing.
We are thrilled to announce the return of the popular Downtown Lawrence crit course on Independence Day. The Firecracker Crit will conclude with a fantastic Unmistakably Lawrence Party with live music and spectacular fireworks.
The 10K Time Trial is in the beautiful Pleasant Grove neighborhood on Saturday.
Continuing the tradition of exciting urban road courses, the 2019 Tour of Lawrence will showcase the beautiful and historic campus of Haskell Indian Nations University and the quaint Breezedale Historic District on Sunday. The Haskell Indian Nations Campus Race features long wide open sections along technical interior streets.

Fun for the whole family!
After watching the action of the Firecracker Crit on the 4th of July, children can participate in the first annual Lawrence Independence Day Bike Parade! Staging for the parade begins at 3:00 PM at 10th and Mass and will travel north to Watson Park for fun and games at the Firecracker Crit Family Festival. Learn more>
